Feeling Sketchy Challenge # 71

It's time for another challenge at Feeling Sketchy!

Here is the sketch:
The optional challenge for this one is to use only 2 colors
(different shades of the 1 color are fine e.g. light and dark blue).

Here is mine:
I have chosen the colors black and white for my two colors.   I used  four different black and white pattern papers...stamped on an image from CTMH in black ink onto white paper (although it doesn't really look white in the picture.)
I used twine to make two bows from this months sponsor which is called "Bessie"

This month we are being sponsored by:
Whimsy Farm Twine is a little Australian business run by a little lady in a corner of her little house. I put my heart and soul into Whimsy Farm Twine; I love twine and I love meeting new people who also love twine.

Alphabet Soup

When I saw this week's challenge at Heart 2 Heart I knew exactly what I wanted to make :-)
I've been looking over the Overlays in the CTMH Cricut Artbooking Cartridge since I got it a few weeks ago.   So I used the alphabet overlay to make my card.

I used paper from the CTMH Dream Pop paper packet for the alphabet overly and also for the bowl for the soup.
(I tried cutting the word soup out with my Cricut also, but had trouble cutting the smaller letters.  So I ended up using some stick on letters that I had.
The inside of the card says "Hope You Feel Better Real Soon"

So I am entering this into the Heart 2 Heart Challenge - Alphabet Soup

My Inspirational Post For Feeling Sketchy

It's my turn to do the Inspirational post for Feeling Sketchy!

Good morning everyone

I'm Debbie, and I'm excited to bring you the inspirational post this week.

Our sponsor for September is the fabulous Sassy Studio Designs

they have fabulous and sassy images that are a lot of fun to work with.

I have made two projects - the first one is a card, and the second one is a purse size notebook for a young teenage girl.

For my first project I have made a birthday card using Strawberry Shortcake Sassy.

I used a pink background that has a strawberry design on it.

I typed on the words "A Little Sass & a lot of Class"

I colored my image in with watercolor pencils, cut her out and put her in the center of the card using foam dots to add dimension to her.

I found a picture of strawberry shortcake that I cut out and also used foam dots to add dimension to it.   I then stamped on the "happy birthday" using cranberry ink.

For my second project I used Kutie Kim Roller Girl.

I left the background white and colored her in using watercolor pencils again.

I wanted this to be appealing to a young teenage girl.

I added images that I cut out using my Sizzix Bigshot, and added a couple of stick on hearts and music notes.  I stamped on the phone and the 4Ever,  added a cute side border to it, along with a tag at the bottom that says "True Friends".

And thank you to our awesome Sponsor
who is generously offering 4 digi's to this month's winner.
I hope that I have created some inspiration to everyone to have some fun and be creative.
Take care everyone!
hugs,
Debbie

Life is Good

Made this card using one of the New products released in the CTMH current catalog - the Irresistibles Hexagons.  I colored them in with CTMH Inkpads Red Barn, Gypsy & Sunset.   I really like how each hexagon has different designs on them.  It comes with several different sizes included.

To make this card I sponged a white cardstock with CTMH inkpad color Cashmere.
I used the CTMH stamp set Remarkable Wreath.
I stamped the branch wreath with Barn Red and then used Gypsy to stamp on the flowers on it.
I then stamped the Life is Good with the color Sunset.

I am entering this into the Heart 2 Heart color challenge - use Sunset, Barn Red, Cashmere & Gypsy
